Review by hotel critic
My stay at Solar Maria Carolina was a blend of luxury and value. The beautiful chalets offered a comfortable retreat, complemented by the attentive housekeeping. The warm welcome drink set the tone for a personalized experience. The on-site restaurant impressed with its sophisticated regional cuisine, although prices were on the higher side for dinner. The availability of free Wi-Fi in public areas was convenient, though the option of a shuttle service could have added more value, especially for guests exploring nearby attractions like Inhotim. The garden area and plunge pool provided moments of relaxation, although the absence of a jacuzzi or steam room may be missed by some seeking extra indulgence. The flat-screen TV and air conditioning in the rooms ensured a comfortable stay, while the option of in-room breakfast added a touch of convenience. The children's play area and buffet were appreciated for families traveling with little ones.In conclusion, Solar Maria Carolina offers a refined stay with a good balance of amenities but leans more towards luxury than affordability.
